Summary:

Our Enterprise Data and Analytics team is growing, and we’re looking for an outstanding Lead Master Data Analyst to join our team. The Lead Master Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the technology and master data operation standards for data management solutions throughout Huntington Bank. The Lead Master Data Analyst is responsible for helping lead the defining, processing, documenting, and monitoring of master data requirements for key business data domains with the goal of supporting continuity of business operations and improving business analytics with clean and trustworthy data. This position will be an integral part of the CDAO Team that is responsible for efficiently building and delivering master processes and tools to applicable end users via a tight partnership with technology (data teams and CIOs), business support units, and other key stakeholders.

This is a Hybrid role, reporting to either Columbus, OH or Minnetonka, MN

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Anticipates and analyzes trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology’s impact(s).

  • Coaches' individuals through change and serves as a role model.

  • Drive business requirements for master data.

  • Guide projects to evolve our master data repositories.

  • Lead and participate in user acceptance testing.

  • Lead enterprise-wide master data and processes.

  • Lead processes to enable on-going stewardship of data.

  • Lead project teams to identify and source relevant master data.

  • Lead the cleansing, transformation, conversion, and remediation of data efforts.

  • Lead the design and manage business rules books consisting of business glossary and technical metadata for key master data domains in Huntington’s business systems and analytical applications.

  • Support identification of master and reference data tools and their implementation.

  • Works with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are clearly understood and that services meet those needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience working with master data and metadata frameworks, with data management processes, master data, systems, and technologies, and with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., SAP BW, Informatica, PowerBI, Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and big data design principles and methodologies

  • Working experience with identifying and managing critical data elements

  • Experience identifying and managing critical data elements

  • Experience planning, measuring, and reporting progress on projects or business initiatives

  • Strong experience in data management processes, master data, systems and technologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Deep customer centric and positive attitude to drive and influence change

  • Expert interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Able to perform functional configuration of master data domains

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills

  • Ability to train other team members regarding day-to-day activities

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
