Pay Range: $31.49-$42.66

Bonus incentive: Candidates will be eligible for a $3,000 bonus upon completion of training.

Lateral Pay Range: $33.01-$42.66 Lateral applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Lateral applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a public safety communications (Police, Fire, EMS) role. Previous training, certifications, communications experience and skillset, as well as amount of time removed from a communications role will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lateral hires will be eligible for a $5,000 bonus upon completion of training.

This position operates communications equipment to efficiently and appropriately answer emergency and non-emergency calls, enter pertinent and accurate information into the computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, provide pre-arrival instructions to callers, dispatch personnel and equipment, manage calls for service and other activity for multiple radio channels in a 24/7/365 communications center.
