Description We are offering a role within the machinery manufacturing industry. Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, this position calls for a Sr. Accountant with a strong understanding of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger practices. The role provides a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure precise account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and completeness

• Implement and manage journal entries in a timely and efficient manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting

• Utilize SAP for various accounting functions and tasks

• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Experience in handling bank reconciliations

• Skilled in maintaining and managing a general ledger

• Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in managing month-end close processes

• Knowledge of SAP software is required

• Prior experience in the machinery manufacturing industry is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of integrity

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
