Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Santa Ana, California for a detail-oriented Controller. This role involves managing accounting and financial tasks, contributing to the growth of our business in the lending and mortgage industry. You will be a key contributor to the team, responsible for reporting to the CFO and potentially having supervisory duties in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.

• Conducting regular auditing to maintain the financial health of the company.

• Overseeing budget processes and ensuring all financial operations align with the company's financial goals.

• Utilizing Sage Intacct software for accounting tasks and financial management.

• Leveraging your experience in the mortgage industry to enhance financial operations.

• Preparing and delivering presentations to rating agencies.

• Utilizing SQL for managing and manipulating financial data.

• Managing the consolidation experience and reporting to parent company.

• Contributing to the company's organic growth by implementing effective financial strategies. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in managing Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct software

• Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to operate independently and make critical decisions

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• detail oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred

• Proven leadership experience in a financial role.
