Summary of Role:

We are searching for a Manager, Buyer Work Center Program Manager to join the Material Management Team in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual will be act as global team lead responsible for key deliverables for our procurement operations team, managing an external business partner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible but not limited for the following tasks:

  • Act as key liaison for supplier management & execution against committed metrics and response time commitments.

  • Responsible for managing an external procurement operations support team, onboarding and training.

  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, implement, and improve business processes that will directly impact GFs ability to manufacture to our customer’s needs.

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, implement, and improve business processes that will directly impact GFs ability to manufacture to our customer’s needs.

  • Direct interaction & regular reporting to GF Executive leadership on key deliverables and goals.

  • Provide team direction on daily activities and manage team priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, college degree or equivalent education in an economic area with distinctive interest into the technical field or a university degree, college degree or equivalent education in a technical area along with solid business knowledge and skills.

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning, issues, and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to perform in an extremely fast paced environment.

  • Travel - Up to 10%

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.

  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.

  • SAP & Oracle ERP experience

  • Knowledge of planning and purchasing systems and processes

  • Understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning

  • Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory and availability.

  • Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity.
