Boehringer Ingelheim Internship - Accounting Team with Polish and English in Wrocław, Poland

THE POSITION

As part of your studies or as a graduate, are you interested in an internship with an internationally successful company that has already received several awards as the best employer and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of innovative pharmaceuticals?

If accounting is in your area of interest, we can offer you a paid internship in the Finance team in an international environment. You can take the opportunity to gain an insight into accounting processes for Poland and actively accompany them.

The start time of our 6 months long paid internship program (contract of mandate) as well as the working hours can be flexibly adjusted to your availability (full-time or part-time). We are working in hybrid work model.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Participation in accounting and tax reporting processes for Poland

  • Working with accounting programs and systems – for example SAP

  • Active participation in cost optimization and process improvement projects

  • Data analysis, including financial results and tax data

About our future Intern:

You should speak Polish (min. C1) and English (min. B2) languages and have the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Students or graduates in the field of economics, accounting, or finance

  • Proactivity with time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality

  • Distinct empathy, team spirit and service-oriented mindset

  • Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g., previous internships or relevant student work is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office (being expert in Excel is a plus)
